Getac Technology first half 2018 sales up, buoyed by rugged PCs
According to DigiTimes, Getac Technology is optimistic about its performance in the second half of 2018, and expects to post a double-digit revenue growth for the whole year thanks to brisk demand for rugged PCs and automotive components, according to company chairman James Hwang. Getac had consolidated revenues of US$370 million for the first half of 2018, up 11.45% on year. In the first half of 2018, the ratio of revenues from sales of rugged computers surged to 48% from 42% in 2017, serving as a major revenue growth driver for the period.
