The Palm Business BookPalm trainer Larry Becker lays it out in plain English by Shawn Barnett Posted May 23, 2003
An early pioneer in Palm OS training, Larry Becker is known to many happy people who have better integrated their favorite computers into their lives because of this courses and videos.
Now Becker has put his years of experience into a book, preserving the same flair and wit we've seen in his videos and personal training sessions. It reads much like a personal chat with this engaging instructor, including funny asides and random tips. It's clear he knows his stuff, and also clear he loves Palms as much as telling people about them.
The book, Becker emphasizes right off the bat, is not another computer manual replacement, but a guide to get more out of the Palm's innate capabilities. A single section distills much of Becker's wisdom on Time Management, which itself is full of useful information that will make you think very differently about your device than you do now.
Perhaps most beneficial are the eleven chapters that are career focused, for everything from entrepreneurs to IT Managers, from teachers and students to homemakers. It's a worthwhile and enjoyable read.
