FileZ

Manage files on VFS Palms with ease

by Shawn Barnett

Posted May 23, 2003

Now that the Palm OS supports removable media, it is essential to have an application that allows you to move programs and data between the card and device RAM. Hard to fathom why, but it's missing from even the latest version of the Palm OS. Fret not, however, because the innovative programmers at LinkeSoft have a freeware solution called FileZ. You can view, move, and copy more files than you can with the plain old Palm copy function, and the interface is smart and intuitive. For some reason they call internal RAM "Palm Card." Know this, and the rest is cake.
