Right and below are two neat products from DSI. The car charger above is for the Palm V, and retails for US$29.

Pretty straightforward, just plug it into your cigarette lighter, and plug the adapter into your Palm V and charging commences. On the unit we received, there was no charge indicator icon onscreen, but the charge increased as I watched; a charging icon should appear over the battery area in a future version.

The cradle below folds up to the small package at right, and is available for both the Palm V and Palm III/VII models. The Palm V model works with your existing Palm V transformer block. It certainly is nice to bring along on a long trip in lieu of bringing the big paperweight that comes with the V. US$29. Or you can get both the folding cradle and the car charger for US$39.
