Xplore reports record revenue for fiscal 2016
Xplore Technologies reported financials for all of their fiscal 2016 that ended ended March 31, 2016. For the entire fiscal year 2016, Xplore reported record revenues of US$100.5 million, up 136% from US$42.6 million for fiscal 2015. There was net loss of US$0.36 million for the full year, compared with a net loss of US$0.25 million in 2015, attributable in part to expensed integration costs related to the Motion acquisition. Note that fiscal 2016 revenue benefited from a significantly expanded product line, as well as new addressable markets and global sales capabilities through the Motion acquisition in April 2015. Zebra introduces comprehensive wearable computing solutions for enhanced warehouse worker productivity
Zebra Technologies introduced Total Wearable Solutions, a dedicated family of wearable technology components aimed at making hands-free, speech-directed scanning and picking more accurate, more comfortable, and more productive. Centered around the Android-based WT6000 wristmount industrial computer, the solution includes quick-connect headsets, a variety of ring-style 1D and 2D scanners, and dedicated software to pull it all together. DigiTimes: Getac expects strong second half of year
According to DigiTimes, Getac Technology chairman James Hwang is optimistic about the second half of 2016.
