FileMaker has announced v5.5 of FileMaker Pro for Mac OS X, Macintosh, Windows 2000 (Citrix MetaFrame & Windows 2000 Terminal Services), Red Hat Linux, PocketPC, Palm OS, and i-mode. There will also be several configuration options: Server, Pro Unlimited, Web Companion, and Developer. Pricing has not yet been released.

Aladdin Systems has announced the release of GoBar v2.5.1 for Palm OS (US$15). New features: advanced drag-n-drop, background color selections, better 3D icons, improved tools, and support for Sony's jog dial control.

IA Style has announced the release of IA ScreenShot -- a one-click solution for capturing screen images on Microsoft Pocket PC devices.

Toshiba has announced the release of a new 3.1-pound TDP-P4 digital projector (US$6,499) that uses Texas Instruments Digital Light Processing technology. Key features: 7.6 x 9.0 x 2.6-inch form factor, 1100 ANSI lumens, 1024 x 768 True XGA resolution, and support for the following image sources: VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA, NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and HDTV.
