Palm announced plans to purchase ebook developer and retailer Peanutpress.com that offers ebooks via netLibrary (from sources like: Stephen King, Michael Crichton, Michael Connelly, and the Wall Street Journal) for both Palm and PocketPC/Windows CE devices.

Electric Pocket's BugMe! messenger application allows a user to write captions on digital photographs taken using IDEO Springboard camera modules for Handspring Visor devices.
