Both Symantec and F-Secure have recently announced new anti-virus (AV) software for Palm OS devices. [SOURCE: eWeek]

Christian Czech has announced the release of dNote v3.3 (note tool) and dTree v3.0 (file explorer) both for Windows CE.

Palm has certified DDH Software's HanDBase v2.75 as a "Palm Powered compatible database application" that includes support for two-way data synchronization.

Vindigo has updated their localized Personal Navigation services to include public transportation information for the following cities: New York City (subway), Boston (the T), Chicago (the "El"), and Washington, DC (the Metro). The latest version also allows users to add and modify city content information using the Options tap.

Swedish Match (cigar and smokeless tobacco company) has announced plans to equip their 325 person U.S. retail sales force with UNOVA's Intermec Technologies 6642 mobile computer to do remote data collection and field force automation using software from IRM.

REX.net and Xircom have announced that they have begun re-shipping Rex 6000 MicroPDAs and have released v1.01 of their desktop software to solve many of the reported problems which stopped shipment of the Rex 6000 back in January.
