Japanese news site ascii24.com reports of a new NEC PDA. The device appears to be a StrongARM-based Pocket PC though it has design elements of both the Sony Clie 710c and the Handspring Visor Edge. There appear to be both a SD and a CF card slot.

Panasonic has lowered the prices of their SD Memory Cards to US$99.95/59.95/39.95 for 64/32/16MB SD Cards. The company plans to introduce a 256MB card by the end of this year, a 512MB card early 2002, and a 1GB card by the end of 2002.
