BSQUARE has reported record revenue and gross profit for both the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2000. The company recorded a US$4.1 million charge for acquired in-process R&D, and introduced 19 new products during the year 2000.

The Chicago Sun-Times has posted a short evaluation of Cutting Edge Software's Quickoffice v5.0 for Palm OS.

CASIO Soft has announced that they have upgraded their enterprise software solution called MobileLink v2.5 to support Interactive Voice Response (IVR) using Microsoft's Web Telephony Engine. The new version also supports a wider range of WAP enabled devices.

Xplore Technologies has announced the new GeneSys III (pen-based tablet computer, US$5600) that offers Intel Pentium III processors, an improved LCD & digitizer, and expanded wireless connectivity options.

Espial has announced that DaimlerChrysler will be using Espial DeviceTop suite of products for the new Dodge Super8 Hemi concept car.
