PC World is reporting that Sprint PCS is getting ready to start offering AOL Instant Messaging (AIM) services for their Internet-ready mobile phones.

Palm online store offers dozens of new hard products from 3rd party vendors -- GPS add-ons, business card scanner, portable Palm V battery charger, digital camera add-on, and voice memo digital recorder add-on to name a few.

DataViz has announced the Professional Edition of Documents To Go for Palm OS (US$50) that can read and edit Microsoft Word and Excel files created on Windows/Macintosh/Linux via StarOffice. Changes to documents on the Palm can be either synchronized back to a desktop system or be sent via email.

New World Technologies (NWT) has announced availability via their online store of the Palm OS 3-D car racing game called "V-Rally" from Palmtop Software. The current version offers: 40 tracks; 4 types of cars; 3 modes, and smooth animations.
