Handspring is reporting the following new Springboard announcements: #1.) Good Technologies' Sounds Good audio player is now shipping; #2.) Pocket Express' Pocket Express Entertainment Pack is now shipping; #3.) Infinity Softworks' powerOne Graph and powerOne Finance calculator is now shipping; and #4.) IDEO eyemodule digital camera has released a new software patch to allow their unit to work with the new color Visor Prism.

GoAmerica is now offering GoWeb services via Metricom's Ricochet 128-Kbps network that is available in the following markets: Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Houston, Manhattan Area, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego and the San Francisco Bay Area.

FileMaker Mobile ($49) brings FileMaker Pro 5 desktop databases (Windows and Macintosh) to Palm OS devices.

Infowave has announced that AT&T Wireless Services will be purchasing Infowave's Wireless Business Engine for internal deployments related to Microsoft Exchange WAP connectivity to Mitsubishi T250 PocketNet phones and Palm OS.

Mobility Electronics' new EasiDock 5000 makes it possible for laptop users to gain access to PCI card solutions, internal drive bay devices, and standard expansion ports (USB, serial).

Oberthur Card Systems has announced the "SIMphon IC 3G" a Universal SIM card that uses Java and supports all the ITU 3rd generation technology standards. The card should make it possible to "offer true global roaming and multiple network access around the World as well as enabling multi-standard inter-operability."
