Handspring has announced that they are now offering both Visor devices and Springboard expansion modules in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan through their primary Asian channel partner The GrandTech Group. Handspring expects to continue expansion further into other Asian countries like China through the end of the year 2000.

MemoWare has announced the "grand re-opening" of PDA Bookstore that offers more than 100 original works of fiction, poetry, and non-fiction from publishing companies like: Ebookstand, Electron Press, Firstprint, and VanGoach Books.

Cutting Edge Software has announced that their Quicksheet v5.0 spreadsheet package for Palm OS devices will be discounted until 31Oct00 from US$40 to US$30.

Intermec, O'Neil, and Socket have teamed up to show wireless printing solutions at the recently held "Frontline Solutions Expo 2000" (Chicago) using an Intermec 6651 handheld computer, an O'Neil ruggedized mobile printer, and a Socket CompactFlash I/O card that supports Socket's new Bluetooth Personal Network Card.
