Lucent Technologies has announced "ORiNOCO USB Product for Homes and Offices" that is geared to make creating wireless networks even easier. The device is Wi-Fi certified, supports 11-Mbps networking, has a range up to 1200-ft, and connects to three ORiNOCO access points (RG1000, AP-500, AP-100). This product is also compatible with other companies networking offerings (Acer, Apple, Dell, Enterasys/Cabletron, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Melco/Buffalo, Sony, & Toshiba).

PhatWare has announced HPC Spell v2.5 (US$20) for Microsoft PocketPC and Windows CE devices. The application includes a basic notepad interface and also integrates into built-in applications. The basic configuration comes with a 90,000 word English dictionary.
