Palm and IBM have announced a new partnership to offer Palm OS based consulting and systems integration capabilities to IBM Global Services. IBM will also focus current and future wireless and web-based product lines to include Palm OS functionality and compatibility.
PalmSource Developer Conference 2000 will be held at the Santa Clara Convention Center on 12-15Dec00. The next version of AmikaFreedom.com will come in Q1'2001, and offer "MessageBack" capabilities that enable the mobile user to modify their preferences from their mobile device.

AAA (American Automobile Association) has announced plans to enter into a new "preferred supplier agreement" with BellSouth Wireless Data for future wireless communication services related to AAA's emergency road services (ERS) it provides to its members.
Ilium Software has announced the release of eWallet for Palm OS devices (previous versions had only supported Windows CE/PocketPC). This US$30 package allows users to store and retrieve all their important personal information (credit cards, memberships, etc.) in a "highly secure" 128-bit encrypted electronic wallet.
