Epic Data International has announced a new version of Epic Data's eXpresso application development toolkit with support for Symbol Technologies' handheld devices (PocketPC, Palm OS, DOS, and microJava). Backend systems supported include Windows NT, Unix, and Linux.

BSQUARE is reporting that their CEValidator Platform Tester has been successfully used by JVC to port Windows CE to JVC's new InterLink MP-C102 handheld PC.

Charge Source offers AC adapters that can be fitted with custom power connections to provide power to multiple electronic devices (laptops, cell phones, handheld PCs, and portable printers) from a single adapter.

MacWorld published for July 2000 has a cover story called "Complete Palm Guide: Best Handhelds, Cool Add-ons; and Great Software."

Karen Kaplan at the Los Angeles Times has an article that looks at flaws in Palm IIIc devices and in HP's new Jornada 540 Series Pocket PCs.
