Xybernaut has announced two new Mobile Assistant IV wearable computers: #1.) Model TC has a faster CPU and new I/O adapter; and #2.) Model TCS has the same TC improvements but is in a new slimmer design. Both units are expected to ship in September, and upgrade paths will be available for current users.

Handheld developer Purple Technologies has announced new venture funding (5.4 million UK pounds) from Quester, NewMedia SPARK, and Emerging Technologies. They have also recently acquired Oxford Softworks, a strategy games software company.

Casio has just announced their upgrade offer for Cassiopeia E-100 and E-105 owners to new Microsoft Pocket PC savvy E-115s (software and hardware choices available).

RedBrigade (an iGate Capital company) has signed a new partnership agreement with ThinAirApps that enables RedBrigade to offer wireless solutions to their customers in the UK, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, and South Africa.

BSQUARE has announced plans to offer two new training programs called "Building Tomorrow's Devices with Windows CE" and "Developing Embedded Systems for Windows CE" to help Asian Windows CE developers and manufacturers. This will be held in conjunction with hardware partners presentations from organizations in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore.
