Opera Software has announced Beta 4 of their Opera for Windows v4.0 that includes experimental support for "Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) -- Wireless Mark-up Language (WML)." Other key features: email, faster rendering speed, small size, low resource requirements, plug-in support, standards-compliance, 128-bit encryption, TLS, SSL 2 & 3, CSS1, CSS2, XML, HTML 4.0, HTTP 1.1, WML, ECMAScript and JavaScript 1.3.

Macintosh Palm Desktop v.2.5 users can now download HotSync 2.6.1 that adds compatibility with Mac OS 9.0.4 and improvements to USB support. [SOURCE: TidBITS]
