LandWare has announced GoType! Keyboards for Handspring Visor handheld devices that also includes an "additional USB port for desktop synchronization from the keyboard." The device weighs under 12-ounces, costs US$70, measures 10x4x1-inches, comes with version 1.6 of GoType! drivers, and is bundled with LandWare's TakeNote word processor & WordSleuth thesaurus.

BSQUARE has release bFax Pro v5.0 (US$50) for Windows CE devices and has teamed with JFAX.com and Mail.com to offer Internet faxing services that are compatible with this new version.

IBM has reportedly begun a series of partnerships with Motorola, Nokia, Palm, Intel, and Cisco to support and develop a scalable wireless platform to support EPOC wireless data services.

Inktomi has announced plans to partner with the following companies to offer next-generation mobile data services: AirFlash, Gap Gemini, Portal Software, Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems, Spyglass, and Gwcom.
