Tivoli Systems and Palm, Inc. have announced plans to bring Tivoli Device Manager for the Palm OS to enterprise networks to enable better management of handheld devices for an organization. Pricing is expected to be in the "1 point per managed device" or US$31 per Palm OS device.

Philips Semiconductors has announced the ability to manufacture a "next generation of video camera" that will offer very high quality pictures in an extremely small form-factor.

Lycos and AnyDay.com have announced a new US$12 distribution agreement where AnyDay will provide wireless compatible Lycos Calendar functionality as a "co-branded" online calendar solution for wireless device users visiting Lycos.

Reuters/MSNBC are reporting that Lucent Technologies has recently "unveiled" a new cellphone savvy technology called "PhoneBrowser" that lets a user access Web-based information using spoken commands.
