Palm has announced a new alliance with Sun and iPlanet to work together to build and market end-to-end wireless solutions for enterprise customers.
Sybase has released their Sybase SQL Anywhere Studio 7.0 for portable computing devices, which enables data synchronization between mobile devices and LAN-based databases. The new version supports 128-bit encryption, native OLE database drivers, and support for Symbian EPOC OS & Wind River System's VxWorks. Pricing for one user is US$399 or US$999 for 10 users.
