Puma Technology will be shipping v3.7 of their Intellisync software for Palm OS (US$70) in Spring 2000. The new version will support Lotus Notes R5 & Notes calendar.

SanDisk has announced that Circuit City will sell SanDisk branded flash memory cards and card readers (CompactFlash, SmartMedia, MultiMediaCards, & ImageMate) in 600 plus Circuit City retail outlets.

Symbol Technologies has announced a new family of Spectrum24 11 Mbps-enabled computer appliances that have been designed to comply with IEEE 802.11b industry standards and will support handheld devices.

WAP NEWS -- #1.) MapInfo has announced acquiring a "minority equity interest" in Finland's WAP and mapping mobile application developer Karttakeskus Oy; #2.) Inso Corporation's division eBusiness Technologies has announced plans to integrate their DynaBase e-commerce solution with WAP servers; and #3.) JP Systems has announced plans to join the WAP Forum.

Cutting Edge Software has announced that Procter & Gamble (P&G) Canada has selected Quicksheet v4.1 and SmartDoc v2.0 as key parts of their enterprise software package for use with Palm OS savvy handhelds.
