ZDNET is reporting that Microsoft's MSN service is getting ready to make "two-way, high-speed satellite based" Internet access a new feature. .

There is a new mobile device content delivery application server technology being offered from a company called "everypath" that will focus on enabling the creation of web-based content delivery with little programming knowledge.

MarkSpace has announced version 1.3.1 of Online for Palm OS (serial connection tool) with support for TRG Pro Palm OS devices, and a new "users & solutions guide" for all their products in PDF format.

PDAgroove offers online informational resources, pictures, reviews, and a discussion area dedicated to a wide variety of handheld devices, especially Palm OS, Windows CE, Newton OS, and PC laptop devices.

Motorola has announced recently an R&D effort to develop a "liquid methanol fuel cell" that could replace current mobile device battery technologies in the next three to five years. These new fuel cells are being projected as being 10 times more powerful, but weighing less than current offerings on the market.

Avi Drissman has announced the release of Avi's Backdrop 1.27 for Newton with significant "birthday" date related functionality and expanded support for French and German languages.
