Phil Spenser has released SysBack for EPOC v2.0F that supports all current EPOC devices (Psion, Ericsson, and Oregon Scientific), and the following languages: English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, and Japanese via Enfour's UniFep. PalmTop Software has announced Collins bilingual Dictionaries with over 100,000 translations and 70,000 references are now available for EPOC, Windows CE, and Palm OS users.

BUSINESS FINANCE NEWS -- #1.) Online wireless device retailer Reasonware has announced that recent "first angel round financing" has raised US$1.74 million for them; and #2.) JP Systems has announced completing a "second round of funding as a privately held company" with a total of $7 million, and will use this capital to enter into European and Asian markets. Key investments for JP Systems came from Bantry Bay Ventures of Hartford, Connecticut; and GS Ventures of Jackson, Mississippi.
Communication Intelligence Corporation (CIC) has
announced licensing of their "Sign-On" biometrics signature solution
for the Palm OS to Wireless Internet Solutions Providers (WISP).
Revolve Design has announced the launch
of RoadWriter (supports Palm OS devices like Palm III/V/VII & Symbol
SPT1500 & TRG PRO), and the Power UniMount dock -- "the first low cost
mobile office and communications solutions for Enterprise, Trucking,
Transportation, Field Service, Military, and Medical Industries." The
new devices are expected to ship in April 2000. A full line of vehicle
mounting units are available from Revolve Design for a host of devices.
