Savos has announced new licensable technology called "MediaCrossbar" that enables wireless platforms to gain access to Internet audio solutions using a client-server model. Currently interested parties can examine this technology online through a web or WAP browser.

Xplore Technologies has announced five more strategic channel partnership agreements to bring wireless application solutions to enterprise customers, public safety organizations, and field force services. Some of the companies currently working with Xplore include: GeneSys, Delta Airlines, Texen, Global Software Corporation, Emergency Equipment Group, Digital Support Corporation, DesertMicro, and TransCOR.

Air2Web as announced a new alliance with Epicentric to deliver a worldwide wireless e-business network platform solution that can link consumers to e-commerce backend services, and employees to enterprise backend services.

BSQUARE has announced that NEC Yonezawa has been using BSQUARE's Windows CE development & deployment technologies and services to build NEC Yonezawa's new RISCMAGIC BR4310 mobile computing reference design.

The Enfour Group (currently based in Japan, USA, and Australia) has added a new incorporation Enfour (Hong Kong) Ltd. that will be focused on the growing Chinese marketplace for Enfour's Asian language interface solutions.

RICOH, WIDCOMM, TROY Group, and Coffin Communications Group have been partnering together to be able to build a next-generation demonstration of future mobile wireless printing concepts and prototypes using each others' respective technologies. These demos have also been using Bluetooth wireless communication protocols, and handheld devices from Handspring.
