Handspring has announced that they are offering their one millionth manufactured Visor handheld -- a Visor Prism -- and the first VisorPhone Springboard expansion module for auction via eBay. All proceeds raised from the sale will be donated to Special Olympics Northern California.

Lineo (embedded systems) and Espial (infrastructure software) have announced a new strategic partnership and a global distribution agreement geared to unifying each others product lines to be able to offer to worldwide customers a complete Internet appliance solution (software, hardware, and networking).

DriveSavers Data Recovery has announced a new data recovery service for digital film (SmartMedia, CompactFlash, & Sony Memory Sticks) that has been recommended by Kodak, Olympus, and Nikon. DriveSavers also provides data recovery services for hard drives, floppies, and other data storage technologies.

Everypath has announced that they have been chosen to provide mobile access to Alaska Airlines' flight status, flight schedules, and Mileage Plan account activity reports. This solution will use Everypath's Intelligent Rendering process and Mobile Application Platform.
