ThinAirApps has announced the release of their WAP enable website that was built using their own ThinAir Server Wireless Software Developer Kit (SDK).

Dr. Vernon Haung, formerly the medical director for Apple's Newton division, has announced that he will lead development of future applications for Palm OS and other devices for VirtMed.

Al Gore's Presidential Campaign was reportedly giving out ttools' PDApoint Stylus Pens to a "select group of attendees" at the Los Angeles' 2000 Democratic National Convention held last week.

Sybase and PenRight! have announced that they are now shipping an evaluation SDK that links UltraLite for MobileBuilder to SQL Anywhere. UltraLite also supports Oracle and Microsoft databases, and supports the following handheld platforms: Palm OS, Windows CE, 16-bit Windows, 32-bit Windows, and MS-DOS.

Mobile Lifestreams has released a WAP search engine sited called "MobileWAP.com" .

Ectaco International reports that their Windows CE version of "Language Teacher" now supports Latvian and Turkish languages. The Palm OS version has also been upgraded to support different language uploads in separate packages.
