The following companies have announced new "Pocket PC" solutions: Odyssey Software, NS Basic, Socket Communications, BSQUARE, Infowave Software, Centura Software, SanDisk, and Lexar Media.

Palm and Delphi Automotive Systems have announced a new "Communiport Mobile Productivity Center (MPC)" that will bring "voice recognition and voice-to-text" capabilities along with wireless Palm.Net access to Palm V devices in car environments.

Extended Systems and PenRight! have announced a release of "XTNDConnect RMP" for MobileBuilder v2.0 (beta) that currently supports Palm OS and will soon support Windows CE. This combo of technology makes it possible to pass real-time data via wireless networks to a wide range of handheld devices.

InSync has recently published Palm OS solution pointers to: #1.) WeSync (online group scheduling); and #2.) SoDeoSyng Technologies' SyncTalk (cross platform data sharing utility).

Century Software has announced HostML and ViewML -- a XML-based host access and rendering technologies where HostML supports Unix and IBM servers, and ViewML will support Embedded Linux, Windows CE, Palm, Java, and ActiveX platforms.
