Dell has announced a new major deal with Palm that will enable Dell to bundle Palm OS devices (IIIe, IIIxe, and Vx) with build-to-order personal computers.

IBM has announced a new 32-GB laptop-savvy hard drive called "TravelStart 32GH."

DSP Group has released a developer platform for their Teak System-On-A-Chip (SOC) technology. The package includes: hardware, run-time emulator, and user prototyping "DSP core" developer code. This technology was designed for the following marketplaces -- cellular 3G, xDSL, VoIP Gateways, and digital cameras.

The PMN News Service is reporting that the senior management team at OmniSky has been recently strengthened by former employees from PSINet, Palm Computing, and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

onSign has released a freeware program that lets Palm OS users "digitally" sign electronic communications that can then be applied to desktop documents.
