Video Chip has announced a digital picture "Wallet" that can hold up to 200 digital images and can play pictures on a 4-inch diagonal screen at 24-bit color. The device runs on "camera batteries" or an AC adapter. The estimated retail price will be in the US$350 range, and it is expected to ship in May2000.

The next meeting (11Apr00 - 7pm) of the Michigan State Palmtop User's Group (MSPUG) will be a three year old "birthday fest" that will include demos from HandPC and the Palm Portable 'Stowaway' Keyboard. AvantGo is reporting that their AvantGo Enterprise technology is being used by BG Group (formerly British Gas Plc.) to keep over 250 members of BG Group's senior executive staff connected to enterprise data while on the go with a variety of handheld devices.

GoAmerica has created a new wireless information system geared for New York Presbyterian Hospital's Organ Preservation Unit that should make it considerably easier for health-care organizations to share time-critical organ transplantation information with each other in New York City.

InSync Online has published recent email messages pointing Palm OS users to the following products: Hands High Software's ToDo Plus utility package; and Synergy Solution's PDActivate (a collection of powerful utilities).
