Club Photo has announced the availability of an Apple Macintosh OS version of their Album To Go v1.5 -- a PDA photo sharing solution for Palm's Palm IIIc devices.

Planetweb has announced v2.0 of their Internet browser software for the Sega Dreamcast 128-bit videogame console. The software is expected to ship to consumers in early May 2000. Some new features: "more efficient browsing, parental control, email, chat, secure socket layer (SSL), formats (MP3, Flash, PNG, JavaScript), and easier-to-use navigation."

Singapore Palm Users Group (SPUG) has announced a new partnership with SiliconHorizon.com to offer exclusive discounts on a wide range of Palm products as well as 3rd party accessories and peripherals for SPUG members.

Network Magazine recently published a report called "WINDOWS CE: NETWORKING UNTETHERED" that examines using Windows CE based devices for maintaining connections to existing company networks.

Odyssey Software has released v3.1 of their CEfusion data access tools for Windows CE that includes compatibility with Windows 2000. CEfusion now supports: Microsoft's ADO model; Microsoft Exchange & Lotus Notes native data storage; Unicode; automatic re-connect; and bandwidth optimization. Pricing options start in the US$395 range for a single developer license.

CNET recently published news about a new handheld scanner called the "ScanCart" (US$159) that can build virtual shopping carts (minus prescriptions) for the online drugstore site PlanetRx.com.
