Palm Computing has announced new offerings: #1.) Palm HotSync Server (enterprise data sync software); #2.) Palm Ethernet Cradle; and #3.) Enterprise service and support programs (help desk, training, troubleshooting services, and extended warranty programs). There is also a new updater for Palm OS devices to Palm OS v3.3 posted to: www.palm.com/custsupp/upgrade/.

Motorola has announced plans for a new DragonBall processor that will support 256-color displays, and will run at 33 MHz. This processor is used by 3Com and their licensees of Palm OS to build Palm OS devices. [SOURCE: ZDNET]

Riverbed Technologies has announced an OEM and development agreement with Palm Computing that enables Palm Computing to use Riverbed's ScoutSync Server v3.5 as the enabling technology behind their new Palm HotSync Server v4.0. In related news, Aether Systems has agreed to work with Riverbed to "optimize" each others technologies for wireless environments.

AvantGo has announced a new version of AvantGo.com with the following new features: "interactivity, performance, cross platform support, wireless, and over 100 new channels."

Cardiff Software has announced that Open Text Corporation has agreed to become a reseller of "custom versions" of Cardiff Software's TELEform and PDF+Forms products. This deal makes it possible for Open Text to offer complete "turn-key" handheld-based document capture, forms processing, and automated eForm solutions.

Xaudio have announced a new Internet-enabled multimedia player based on Microware's OS-9 technology and Espial Group's Java development tools: Kalos Espresso (lightweight GUI toolkit) and Kalos Architect (rapid application development environment).
