Physix has announced the release of Pocketchart v2.0.0.5 for Windows CE v2.1 devices. This "medical charting tool" has improved performance and a host of customer feedback enhancements.

SanDisk has announced that: #1.) PenMan Corp. (based in Korea) will use San Disk MultiMediacards in PenMan's upcoming NETTi PN-2000 (US$200) portable internet music player; and #2.) Korea Media will also use SanDisk MultiMedia cards with their MP-CAP portable internet music player (that has unique Karaoke player and foreign language tutor features).

Keyspan has announced a new handheld Digital Media Remote (US$79) for Windows and Macintosh that gives a user remote control of their computer's DVD, CD, MP3 and QuickTime Players, as well presentation programs such as PowerPoint.

Socket Communications has announced that their Socket Battery Friendly family of low-power plug-in cards support the Compaq Computer Corporation Aero 1530 (a Windows CE savvy palm-size PC).

PC Week is reporting "Oracle8i Lite mobilizes Web apps -- Oracle's updated mobile database keeps road warriors armed with up-to-date Web applications, PC Week Labs finds."
