Handheldmed.com (a portal for medical handheld computing news, reviews, and information) has announced a "new resource" that will cover the growing use of wireless handheld devices.

Deloitte & Touche via Forbes (29Nov99) has named handheld developer BSQUARE Corporation to the twelfth position in their annual list of "Fast 500" United States technology companies.

George Henne at NS Basic is reporting the release of Devsoft's IP*Works--a set of Internet tools (22 controls including FTP, Telnet, NNTP, SMTP, & HTTP) that supports integration into NS Basic's Big Red Toolbox (a free add-on collection for NS Basic for Windows CE).

PC Data is reporting in their U.S. retail marketshare survey for Oct1999 that combined sales of Apple's iBook and PowerBook portable computer lines acquired 11% of the share of all sold laptops in the U.S. during Oct1999.

Jaap Lameris has released a freeware utility called "BIKLOGx" that enables a user to track different bicycles and routes taken for training purposes. There is version 2.1 for Psion Series 5 devices and version 1.2 for Psion Series 3 devices. For more info: Jaap_Lameris.tripod.com/mypsion.htm.
