Nogatech & JVC have announced plans to integrate the USBvision chipset into a digital video camera solution that would be Windows CE savvy. This "platform" would make it possible to record digital video at 30-fps given enough storage availability.

Centura Software Corporation has announced that their next-generation "Information Appliance Computing Data Management Solutions" will support Palm OS based devices.

Amazon.com has a wireless Palm VII "mobile purchasing" solution that is available via 3Com's Palm.net wireless users. Download at www.palm.net.

PDA Dash has announced a new "town hall" handheld community site that they are calling Smaller.com.

Laridian has announced that David Fedor at Servant Software is putting the finishing touches on his next version of the bible software package for Palm OS called "Scripture." When complete, Laridian will have exclusive rights to market, support, and distribute the package under a new name called "MyBible," and offer several translation add-ons: KJV, NIV, and NASB.

Synaptics has announced their next-generation "touchpad" solution called ClearPad for use in sensing technology applications.
