NEW STUFF SUMMARY - #1.) Motorola has announced a new microprocessor called "DSP56690" that can reportedly support the following communication standards: "CDMA, GSM, and iDEN, TDMA, and satellite-based products"; #2.) Hewlett-Packard has announced the new HP Jornada 690 Handheld PC with more storage and "increased flexibility"; and #3.) Concept Kitchen has released their ruggedized case's called "Bumper" for Palm Pilot, Palm III, and Palm V series devices.
Foundation Systems has released iKnapsack 1.1 (US$20) -- "an update to their popular application for the Palm OS that brings interactive and enriched content from the Web directly to Palm organizers."
The South China Morning Post is reporting that Palm Computing is rumored to be looking at ways to release a Chinese savvy version of Palm OS in the near future.
Yodlee is an "new--still in beta" online personal data warehouse solution for doing email, Web resource access, and online banking. They have announced plans to support mobile devices via "Yodlee2Go."
The UK's Financial Times has published an article entitled "PSION LAUNCH TIES IN WITH ORACLE LINK" that examines the new Psion netBook portable PC, and how it can integrate into Oracle enterprise database solutions.
