PC Week is running an article entitled "Windows CE Losing Palm Arm Wrestle" that notes some Windows CE hardware makers have decided or are nearly ready to decide to "abandon" Windows CE palm-size products.

SanDisk has announced greatly increased capacity of their MultiMediaCards, CompactFlash cards, PC Cards, SD (Secure Digital) Memory Cards, FlashDrives, and flash chipsets. The high capacity flash products are based on a new 256 megabit (Mbit) D2 (Double Density) flash chip designed by SanDisk that will double current offering sizes (ie. 32-MBs products will now offer 64-MBs of storage).
