PC Week and PC World have recently published online articles related to Intel's new next-generation StrongARM processors.
The Automotive Multimedia Interface Consortium (AMIC)--whose members include Ford, Daimler-Chrysler, General Motors, Renault, and Toyota--has announced plans to use Sun Microsystems' Java software as a standard technology for building future in-car multimedia systems, and to "appoint" Sun and IBM as development partners. AMIC has also announced that the following companies have "expressed interest" in AMIC's technology direction: BMW, Fiat, Honda, Matsuda, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot Citroen, Volkswagen, and Volvo. Cardiff has created a new module called "PDF+Forms" for its forms processing solution called "Teleform" that lets you collect "forms based data" using the CrossPad digital notepad (US$399) and upload the data to the central Teleform server for processing.
Camillus Guhl notes the release of version 3.3 of SimpleMail for Newton. Some new features: increased preference control, better email browsing, stopping connection option, and fetching email from multiple accounts.
