Sierra Imaging has released Image Expert CE 2.0 for Windows CE 2.0 and 2.11 on Palm-size PC and Handheld PC Pro Devices. Together with a digital camera and a Windows CE device, Image Expert users get a portable imaging solution allowing mobile users to collect and annotate image data and reports while on the move. Groups of images can also be automatically run as a slide show presentation with text overlays, and images can by synchronized with desktop PCs.

Symbol Technologies has announced a new industrial savvy Palm IIIx form factor device called the SPT-1700 that will be integrated with wireless LAN technology capable of transmitting data in the one MBPS range and at distances up to 300 meters.

TDK Systems has introduced the CyberExpress 5614--"a new low-cost (US$120), full-featured 56K fax/modem PC Card that supports both K56flex and V.90 standards" that works with Windows 95/98/NT/2000, Windows CE, and Apple PowerBook notebook computers.

Ramel Levin has announced the release of PalmMate's DateMate v1.5 for Palm OS devices. This utility keeps track of important dates and organizes all of them in a single list view. DateMate will also automatically synchronize with your DateBook.

The Michigan State Palmtop Users Group (MSPUG) will be meeting on Tuesday (7pm) 08Jun99 at Beaner's Coffeehouse, 270 W. Grand River, East Lansing, MI. Stand Alone Software will be demoing Super Names for Palm OS and there will be a Palm VII in the house for demos also.
