The Stanford PalmPilot User Group (SPUG) meets at 7pm on the first Tuesday of each month, so the next meeting (SPUG's belated first anniversary meeting) will be on 05Jan98. Convergys Corporation has announced plans to bring their "billing and customer card" support products to PalmPilot devices by the time that 3Com ships their wireless Palm VII device.
Linda Southwick reports that Southwick Business has announced a new carrying case called the "Southwick Executive Bag" (available in leather for US$225 or High-Tech Fiber for US$125) for the mobile professional that was designed to hold cellular phones, pagers, and palm-size handheld devices.
3Com's Palm Computing division has announced that they are partnering with Internet software storefront Beyond.com to build a comprehensive online store that will cater to the hardware and software needs of PalmPilot customers.
