In response to the new 3Com pricing news, pdamart has announced new prices for the Palm III (US$279) and Palm Pilot Professional (US$180). They have also lowered the prices on several Windows CE palm-size devices including the Casio E-11 and LG Phenom Express. ARM Holdings is reporting that Apple Computer has sold two million shares of ARM Holdings stock (4.24% of total available on the market) on 02Feb99. Apple still owns some 7.262 million shares in ARM Holdings.

Ramel Levin has announced the release of "IOU Mate for PalmPilot"--a freeware IOU manager that will let you keep track of "money and stuff you lend and/or borrow." You can download your copy via PalmMate.

PenRight! reports that Global Data Granite Communications has licensed "PenRight! pen-based operating environment" for Global's new NOVAS handheld unit. A similar agreement has also been announced for Casio's new Flash Sheridan reports that the Stanford PalmPilot User Group (SPUG) meets at 7pm on the first Tuesday of each month. The next meeting will be on 02Mar99 at Printer's Inc Bookstore Cafe (310 California Ave, Palo Alto, California). The Guest of Honor will be Steve Sabran, President of Datastick Systems, demoing their data acquisition hardware.
