Hot on the news from Microsoft about their new "color savvy" version of Windows CE for palm-size PC devices, ZDNET's AnchorDesk ran with this "Berst Alert" yesterday: "BEGINNING OF THE END FOR PALMPILOT? NEW WIN CE COULD BE TURNING POINT". These new color Palm-size PCs are not, however, expected to ship until sometime in Q2'99. The major manufacturers who have already signed up to build devices to this new specification include Auctor, Compaq Computer, Hewlett-Packard (HP), Trogon, Casio Computer, Everex Systems, Philips Electronics North America, and Uniden.

Practical Sales Tools will be hosting "Unwired Contact Product Demonstration" on 09Feb99 (Tuesday) at the CTIA/New Orleans conference in the Microsoft Partner Pavilion. For more information contact kimberly@townsendagency.com.
