3Com has filed the necessary paperwork for their initial public offering (IPO) for their Palm Computing division which will become known as Palm Inc. This follows the recent news that AOL, Nokia, and Motorola have all invested in the Palm Inc. company. This IPO is expected to raise hundreds of millions of dollars for Palm Inc.

3Com has also recently announced plans to invest up to US$100 million in USWEB/CKS, and to purchase a US$40 million stake in USWeb/CKS. This relationship will be used to build enterprise savvy mobile e-commerce solutions.

ZDNET is claiming to have a "PDA Shoot-out" article available online that examines the top handheld devices.

Atelier's SimCity Classic for Palm OS is available for US$30. Maximum PC magazine recently awarded this game a 9 out of 10 ranking. For more information check out: www.atelier.tm/palm/scc.html.

GE Equity -- a minority investor in SoftBook Press -- is running ads in major technology magazines presenting eBook type solutions from SoftBook as potential solutions for current and future document delivery systems.
