TRG Products has released a localized version (English, German, French, & Japanese) of their FlashPro (US$29.95) utility software for Palm OS devices. FlashPro lets users access the "extra" built-in nonvolatile flash memory as storage.

ICL has announced a new ruggedized Intel Pentium based "TeamPad(TM) 7600 lightweight mobile computer."

Socket Communications and PacketVideo have announced plans to "collaborate" on a "wireless streaming video application" for Windows CE base devices.

Handheld content -- #1.) Mobile Planet of Hong Kong has announced a Chinese and English savvy wireless Internet portal called "WAPHead"; #2.) RCN Corporation will be building a Research In Motion savvy email service; and #3.) Charles Schwab has announced plans for wireless trading services via pagers, mobile phones, & other handheld devices.

Mobile Lifestreams has announced the publication of their latest report "Data on Wireless Application Protocol (WAP)" which follows two other recent released reports entitled: "YES 2 SMS" and "Data on GPRS."
