Microsoft has announced the release of Microsoft ActiveSync v3.0 for Windows CE based systems. This package includes "significant improvements" to Microsoft's desktop to handheld data synchronication software according to Microsoft press releases.
Chip Weinert at CompanionLink Software notes that they are named in the 3Com/Olivetti preliminary injunction for their daVinci to PC utilities package for data synchronization called "CompanionLink Software." The folks at CompanionLink are working with both 3Com and Olivetti to resolve issues regarding the lawsuit, and are mindful of the impact on their customers to quickly resolve any issues that effect them.
