Chris Temple brings us news that Telxon's subsidiary PenRight! will be providing the application development tools to a new British Airways project at London's Heathrow Airport. This task allocation system (TAS) will be for the "New World Cargocentre (one of Europe's largest cargo facilities)," and should consist of over 100 Telxon mobile computers wirelessly integrated to a wide area network (WAN).

TealPoint Software has announced that their Palm OS based TealDoc, TealMeal, TealPaint, and TealInfo Developer Kits now work on Macintosh OS systems.

The PC Magazine Online published on 26Apr99 has a "New Product Alert" from Bill Machrone that notes that the new Casio Cassiopeia E-15 (US$400) and the Philips Nino 200 (US$300) are grayscale and not color-based like other new Windows CE Palm-sized PCs.

Douglas Luckie reports that the Michigan State Palmtop Users Group (MSPUG) has celebrated their two (2) year anniversary with a "MEGA" online newsletter with photos.

Holger Mueller notes that Softwarebuero Mueller has announced the release of Options v3.4 for the Newton (settings controls: Freeze, Undo, Close Extras, Backlight, Battery Warning, Amount of correctable words, and Number of Clipboards). This release is downloadable in .zip or .sit format and includes support for either English or German language.

The Stanford Newton User Group will meet at 8pm (PST) on Tuesday 27Apr99 at the Printer's Inc. Café located in Palo Alto, California.
