Lotus Development has announced Mobile Services for Domino 1.0 (supports GSM, CDMA, TDMA, SMTP and SNPP), and EasySync 3.0 for Notes (supports Palm OS) at DemoMobile '99 in San Diego, California. Mobile Services will be in Beta testing within 30 days, and will ship in Q3'99. EasySync will ship in 30 days and cost under US$70 per device.

Harmon/Kardon have announced a new "Microsoft" and "harmon/kardon" branded "Take Control" remote controller that should unify all the controllers currently in use in a home like for TVs, Stereos, VCRs, DVDs, and Surround Sound Systems. This handheld device comes with a good size screen that can be configured using desktop PCs, and the device will retail for under US$350.
Tony Fischer notes that LunaSuite Pro for the Newton (email, ftp, and Web browser client) has been released for free. Luna Research was charging US$70 for this package.
