Wyse Technology has some new Windows CE system software available for OEMs and developers that make it possible to use "linear FLASH storage" with Windows CE devices. The product is currently being called "PicoStor."

There is a Windows CE version of the "highly-portable Smalltalk-80 implementation" development tool called "Squeak." A host of other desktop operating systems are also supported. You can learn more via this URL.

Andy Patrizio at TechWeb notes that a new cross-platform, object-oriented messaging language called "Rebol" that was originally developed for the Amiga OS is going to support the handheld Psion OS, along with a host of other desktop operating systems. You can check out the complete article.

Kenneth Wong has created a great new Newton specific site called NewtonMad that includes direct-to-Newton downloads using Steve Weyer's Newt's Cape.
