The default communications speed for Windows CE synchronization is 19.6kbps, but almost all systems can support speeds up to 57,600. Simply open your desktop control panel and set the port and the modem speeds to 57,600, then open the Communications control panel applet in your Palm-sized PC. On the 'PC Connection' tab, change the connection to Serial @ 57600.
If you can not connect to the desktop after making this change, simply return the speeds to 19,600.
